Re: Introduce Yourself.

Welcome aboard, Commander! No idea what the problem was, but 'tis sorted now. The Oolite embassy at SSC comes in handy sometimes.

Re: Oolite Wiki

My fiction seems to be missing from the Oolite Fiction page, Cholly. You could perhaps add An Ideal Victim to it as well - it and its thread contain hints on how to cross the Great Rift in the seventh octant.

Re: Debian 10 fonts issue

Hi, and welcome aboard. I know zilch about Linux, but a quick question: did you download Oolite from oolite.org or from a repo?

What began as an attempt to repair tense EU-Turkey relations has turned into a diplomatic spat that has been dubbed "sofagate".

Re: I crashed the ooniverse

Torus drive is programmed to exceed 32x speed when there are no stellar bodies or obstacles within a certain ditance of the player. You can accelerate to crazy speeds if you let it go for a good while. Is an unattended rock hermit an obstacle? Time was, you could dock with one on torus - great fun!

You need to host them somewhere (Postimage, for example - there are others), then post links.

Re: Handling the Imperial Star Destroyer

I'd call that a success -- It would've been a success (once they'd sorted driver issues out), had there not been a bug in Space Cadet . The 64-bit version of Pinball had a pretty nasty bug where the ball would simply pass through other objects like a ghost. In particular, when you started the game,...
