Actually i see some similarities between the new E:D Krait MK II and the current Oolite Krait. Like the engines and or the topside edge that is kindof extruded.

Did you use a core-spacecraft or an add-on? In case it was a mod-ship you should contact the modder who will fix that. agreed, it looks really nice. If its possible it would be nice to have this "glow"-feeling that you made around the scanner also for the scanner itself, like it was with the old deepspaceHUD. And another question, did you make this hud for a 16:9 screen?

maybe if you want a game that is more like elite 2 /frontier you should try out pioneer ( opensource/free ), its a modern clone of it.
