Out of curiosity, is actually anybody in charge for this OXP now ? It still seems kind of popular and since I already included it in my own WIP I wouldn't mind yo take it over for future support.

Is it possible to make a script to ‘force’ it to show up for sale at a TL15 station? You can easily do yourself by editing the shipyard.plist. There you will find techlevel = 15 chance = 0.90 If you change the techlevel to 1 and the chance to 2.0 all systems will be flooded with the ship :wink: Edi...

That should work, overlaying 2 models (active and inactive) and remove or restore the active one when needed. I tired another approach by setting the max_energy to 0, needless to say the turret keep on firing. :lol:

Yeah, those examples are of the "remove it then restore it" type. Removing it would make it actually disappear from the ship. I'm trying to find a simple way of keeping the subentity visible, but neutering it's firing mechanism. Thanks for point that OXP out though - I'd missed it in my searches. I...

- Select the allegiance, from (at the moment) either "neutral", "chaotic", "pirate" or "hunter". There are other options, but I thought those were the most applicable for a RH. Another area I'm still toying with is the issue of cartels or protection rackets and such. The realist in me says the only way to do this properly is to create a map of different groups operating in the sector, track their influence, and trigger interactions with the player when it seems appropriat...
