Re: Science Fiction Trivia

I cannot confirm Pawleys Peepholes so I will have to take your word for it.
I knew 12 monkeys(obviously) and had heard of continuum but the books again were new to me. The list of books I have to check out keeps growing :P

Re: Science Fiction Trivia

Ok Im sure this one will be easy again but here goes. 5 books, Movies, TV shows with time travel from the future to the present/past. Has to be a main feature and not just a one off episode. Back to the future would not count as that is the present going to the past. Terminator would count as that's...

Re: Science Fiction Trivia

Tron. I don't think the humans realise at first that they are in a virtual world. But on the other hand the Viewer is so its not a twist. EDIT: If not how about "Virtuosity"(although in this one for the most part the people know they are in a virtual world, But for the opening sequence the viewer do...

The 13th Floor
An entire season of Yu-Gi-Oh was set in a virtual world as well(But I don't think Yu-Gi-Oh will count as Sci Fi)

Re: Science Fiction Trivia

Ok for lack of originality I will return to the list of 5
I want 5 space stations from different universes. They have to be a main featured station for instance starbase 375 from Star trek would not count but Deep Space 9 would(and now you cant use that one :P )

Re: Too many pirates...

I agree. I have recently been playing the original BBC version and when Pirates attack its a group of 1 to 3 pirates. In Oolite I often get jumped by up to 8 pirates and sometimes I get more than 1 group after me, Ive had more pirates on the scanner than I can count. I actually played Oolite before ...

Re: Oolite - Life in the Frontier - REVIVAL (14/04/2018 - Release v0.10.0)

Ive done a few days playing with this mod and love it. It adds a lot more flavour to the world unfortunately I kept getting crashes and had to remove it(normally while docking) Any news on a solution?

Game Im working on(IMAGE HEAVY)

I don't know if its allowed to post things about other games here But this is what I work on when I'm not playing Oolite or No Mans Sky. Its a procedurally generated RPG made in a very retro PS1 style. It has no real objective, Just play as you want/Create your own story kind of play. Ive been worki...

Re: Masslock Compensator OXZ

just so you know Ive removed most mods, put masslock compensator(and a select few others) back in and everything works fine now. Im not sure which mod was causing the hassle but now Im slowly putting mods back in(one at a time) If I come across which one it was I will let you know. I decided that th...

Re: New Jameson here, some initial feedback

What version introduced governments influencing neighbouring systems? and can I download the version before that somewhere? That sounds way more fun, You can actually view the worlds knowing what they will be like and plot the safest route through the systems rather than getting jumped by pirates ev...

Re: New Jameson here, some initial feedback

it would be best to go the whole hog and redraw the map. Put a little cluster of half-a-dozen systems, all within a jump or two of each other, with only one longish jump route out to the rest of the galaxy. Make the 6 systems a mix of Democracies and Corporate States, with maybe the one on the rout...
