The biggest memory leak in Oolite was identified a few days ago and was related to expanding description strings. This was mostly evident on the Short Range Chart screen, where, by just leaving it on for more than something like 5-10 minutes would cause memory exhaustion. See the Progress thread in ...

Does the added missile code affect game balance? Make sure that you have not created some kind of unbeatable superweapon. I will give it a test at first opportunity, probably during the weekend.

I had some horrible moments troubleshooting why I could not see the ship on the demoscreen with this OXP, unitl I happened to notice the jabberwocky entry, too. Just replace this with llama-escort and you should be able to see it. No idea why the author created a demoships.plist with bogus data in i...

You are lucky because the Oolite saved game files are editable with any text editor. You can basically create a save file by writing it up, simply by keeping the format consistent to the .oolite-save format. You can look at any other saved game to see how the file is made up. If you cannot get it to...

Not sure really why only Windows is affected, you might be right with your assumption about the variable handling. However, I just wanted to mention that I tried your fix and it works fine.

I think I know what is wrong with this. The variable mission_vicbond_count, on which apparently everything depends - does not seem to get initialized before the first visit to a navy station, but to have a navy station appear in game, this variable must be defined. I added the OXP in AddOns, launche...

Precisely. If there happen to be problems with version 2.0 of GalNavy, they will have to be investigated elsewhere.

Hm, I think the problem has to be something else. Taken straight from the legacy script source code, scriptTestCondition method: else if (([comparisonString isEqual:@"greaterthan"])||([comparisonString isEqual:@"morethan"])) comparator = COMPARISON_GREATERTHAN; What the above means is that the moret...

By the way is it possible to have both 1,65 and 1,70 (in a different directory) installed in me hard disk? I want to be able to test similar situations with both versions or do i have to install uninstall all the time. Yes it is definitely possible, and I do it all the time. Just be aware that the ...

<sigh...> Hopefully all the laser purchase mishandling and trade in bugs have now been resolved. The grease monkeys who were found guilty of theft and improper business conduct have been subjected to disciplinary action. Hopefully this will be the last we hear from them...

It is the same flavor of the bug and has been already fixed in the source code tree.

Hi Trexate, thanks for your report. I have not been able to check the lasers not appearing for sale where you expect them, but the behavior during purchasing you are reporting is indeed a bug. Thankfully, the fix was trivial and is already in the repository. Heh, one more out of the way for the next...
