No problemo I'll post it on this thread (maybe even slap it on the wiki). To be honest I can't take credit for this. The information regarding average prices is obtainable from the wiki. All I did was put it in a format that puts the information between the keyboard and the screen for quick easy ref...

Dude! This sucks about 90% of the fun out of the game. Also if you like cash so much why trade when you can get your 9 successful specific trades and then start shifting GPG orders around the ooniverse? Alternatively there are tools you can use on your average desktop that will do most of the things...

Really? What about logitech key mapping? I can get the mouse buttons to be any thing I want. That's running under leoptard. It's an assumption admittedly but wouldn't a joystick work in the same way? Joystick software can emulate a mouse or a keyboard key, but that’s not the same thing as Oolite su...

Oolite on the Mac does not support joysticks. Oolite on the Mac does not use SDL. :-) Really? What about logitech key mapping? I can get the mouse buttons to be any thing I want. or don't "add on" it at all. Such atrocities completely destroy the golden pillar of up close and personal ship murder and have no place in my universe. -.-

It's like someone bringing a blow torch to a fist fight, it's just not right.

Not if you're in a SuperCobra with a Naval Energy Unit, Military Shield Enhancement and an ice-cold Mil laser.... The only Kobayashi Maru for that being the Purple Haze, when it decides to give you an E-bomb as a parting gift... Or there 2 of them. Oh look at the pretty lights! Han...

like Rattle Cutters – are a pain. Spot them far away and plan accordingly, is my advice! It's for enemies like these that you need to hone your long-range sniping skills... and, frankly, your long-range rear-gunning skills too! or here's a plan, don't "add on" it at all! You have a plate of olives,...

Mmmm we're onto the nitty subject of game balace here aren't we? Reward can be based against any number of the following factors. Frequency of opportunity. Difficulty of action. Need for specialist equipment to carry out action and the disadvantage that puts on the pilot. Cost of the said specialist...

I always make sure that I'm very close to the rear of a Basilisk or a Hydra, because I don't want to be at the other end - for obvious reasons. By contrast, NPCs tend to fire their missiles at a much greater range, and that's why my ECM doesn't appear to be as effective. Now that I know this, I can...

Is it just me?... or is NPC supercobra AI a bit crap? They just don't seem to put up much of a fight. Often find a fugitive supercobra just hanging around outside the station... doesn't even fight back whilst I laser him up. I find this a bug in Oolite. Once a ship is in docking mode, it will not r...
