Yes, another_commander is right, you need to use one of the nightly releases in order to use this HUD. Hi smcameron, thank you so much for your post! Your works looks really good. The problem I ran when I was working on that shader was that it was not possible to use transparencies, only full 1.0 or 0.0. @Norby I had the impression that the Python model in that OXP is not a Griff model, in which case my textures would not work. The model would need to be replaced as well in the override plist.

Thank you so much, keikitokugawa! As for the colours, you can definitely do that using masks and shaders. I think Griff used this technique in a couple of his ships. I personally found it easier and more consistent to create specific liveries, so my texture packs have a fixed set of colours.

Anyhow whilst engaging in the practice of trying to hold the ship in the targets whilst holding "i" for injector and then trying to press "a" to open fire whilst hoping that the krait doesn't move (as I struggle to my left hand to span between "i" and "a") I was thinking......
