Re: Expansions Manager Manager/Environment Manager

If memory serves you can install multiple instances of Oolite on your computer. Place each instance of Oolite in its own set of folders with its own set of expansions associated to it. Create shortcuts to each executable and its expansions with tell tale names so that you know which one you are play...

Re: Traffic lights for station docking bays

This post is going to be a series of links pointing you in the right directions to achieve what you want. TRAFFIC LIGHTS are only for main stations but they do what you ask along with a few other things. See also NEO-DOCKLIGHTS and I.L.S. for OXZs with similar yet distinctive behavior. There is no e...

Re: [RELEASE] DH-Adv. Nav. Comp & Emer. Witchspace Inititator

The Advanced Navigation Computer puts you at the precise angle necessary to make a Witchspace Jump. This is why your jumps with it in use take 30 seconds to initiate instead of the usual 15 seconds. Note that the timing of these countdowns can be overridden by an entry in a shipdata.plist (go back a...

Re: Docking Computer

Deep Space Dredger: c works some of the time - the rest of the time it takes a veritable eternity as it sends your Cobra whizzing off to the far end of the galaxy; C never works... In order for the Fast Docking Computer (shift+c) to work the following code must be included in the station's or carri...

Re: Recovering "Lost" OXPs

For starters, I am just looking for a description of a main-group in shiplibrary which could cover several "alien" ships from various OXP's. Storied Ships. While there is no licence in the readme you can find one in the script. In the future will remember to check scripts for license information. S...

Re: Combat is too hard with a keyboard

Traffic Lights by Stranger is a good alternative or addition to the I.L.S. system. Been using it for a while now and find it very useful in many ways. It not only cuts down on Main Station queue wait times but also provides a nice set of docking lights. The download link is available in that thread...

Re: Recovering "Lost" OXPs

montana05: How about describing them as being from several Alternate Ooniverses that exists parallel to the known Ooniverse. These Alternate Ooniverses do connect to the known Ooniverse via very specific and very unknowable Witchspace Jump Points thereby only allowing a one way flow of traffic from ...

Re: [UPDATED RELEASE 03-07-2014] Superhub V1.6 OXZ

What .zip program are you using? My recommendation would be 7-zip as it is free and easy to use. With it you would never have to completely unzip an OXZ in order to edit the files within it as the files can be opened directly from within the .zip file. The only further recommendation is that after y...

Re: [UPDATED RELEASE 03-07-2014] Superhub V1.6 OXZ

In Super Hubs for Extra Planets there is a missing subentity_key in each of the four Super Hubs listed in its shipdata.plist. This prevents those Super Hubs from accepting docking requests. It also generally prevents docking should you have Docking Requests set to being required. Naturally it is the...
