I've had a play with this, it's great fun on full injectors, but a bit alarming whe you accidentally ID a station or hermit or something and the ship starts doing its own thing!

I seem to remember once reading that when Braben & Bell were working on the original Elite, they had to spend ages messing with the seeds and checking the results to produce a set of galaxies that had no rude or offensive random planet names. That sounds way less fun than using this OXP to find out ...

If such a formula was ever integrated into the game, then there would need to be a tool for OXP ship designers to modify their ship price by a set percentage:

My luxury Lamborghini ship is formula+70%, my ugly but reliable hauler is formula-20%.

Isn't maintenance cost dependant on ship cost?

Ha! There's me talking about typoes... What I should have written is "I have "MvM_veloceeappuntita v1.1.oxp" in my addons folder, but the in-game oxp manager lists the latest version as 1. 0 ". But from what you just typed, I guess I should just delete the oxp version and install the oxz via the man...

Just noticed something a bit weird... I have "MvM_veloceeappuntita v1.1.oxp" in my addons folder, but the in-game oxp manager lists the latest version as 1.1. Is the old version newer than the new version? I ran into a pricing typo on this the other day, I could have had a veloce for just 650 credits!

Just been playing with this. It is awesome! It can considerably speed up withcpoint > Station travel too.
