Italian Localization OXP

Post by another_commander » Sun Apr 20, 2008 9:28 pm

Now that v1.71 v1.72 v1.73 v1.74 1.76 v1.77 of Oolite is out, the seventh version of the Italian localization OXP can be made publicly available:
https://www.box.com/s/zfvmmbzbsmuz6kgybttx

Standard OXP installation instructions apply. This OXP will convert the entire game language to Italian. All messages, HUD, missions, comms log etc. will be autotranslated. Note that if you are using a HUD different to the original, it may or may not be overriden by the HUD from this OXP, depending on the order the OXPs load.

This is both a way for eventual Italian players to have the game in their native language and an exercise on how to make a localized version of Oolite. The most difficult part was the planet descriptions, but I think it went quite well with this version.

Be sure to read the readme file for more information. Big thanks for their assistance in making this OXP go to:
Ahruman, Commander McLane, Kaks and dajt. Also thanks to friends Stefano, Fabrizio and Antonio for lending a hand with the actual translations.

Edit: Updated to version 1.1
Edit 03-Nov-2008: Updated to version 1.2
Edit 17-Sep-2009: Updated to version 1.3
Edit 15-Jun-2010: Updated to version 1.4
Edit 06-Jan-2012: Updated to version 1.6 (version 1.5 had the fate of the Cobra MkII, it was never released to public)
Edit 26-Jan-2013: Updated to version 1.7
