Returning to Oolite - a few questions!

I lost my old profile when my laptop went bang. To save the tedious and time consuming process of getting my ship back to it's fully spec'd status I have tweaked the number of credits in the bank. I will of course be starting from scratch on the kills front...

Question - which oxp's to start with? I liked to old Thargoid Wars, Galactic Navy OXP and Military Fiasco but what others?

Which equipment,dockables and weapons do people recomend?

My last version was running slow and crashed alot so I would like to know what works best with other oxp's.

I highly recommend Superhub, hOopyCasino, and Commies...to have more and (semi) interesting places to dock. Dictators is probably good also. Use their commodities markets to make a little extra profit with each jump...just remember each launch from a station adds 10 minutes to the gametime, so a time-limited contract may be in jeopardy if you do that too much.
